Dave Pumford

Dave is Founder and CEO of PTX Technologies, the innovation consultancy built for digital infrastructure.

Before PTX, he held senior leadership roles at SG.GS, Digital Realty, IX Reach, and Console Connect, building and launching digital infrastructure platforms for operators at global scale. His particular strength is in interconnection, automation, and portals, having built, enhanced, and launched multiple NaaS platforms to market.

He started PTX because he had spent a decade watching the same problems play out across operator after operator. Product teams were building internally when the market was moving externally. Executives defending yesterday’s roadmap instead of validating tomorrow’s. Engineering teams shipping what was easy to build rather than what was worth selling. Dave left a senior corporate role to build the consultancy that would fix it properly: one partner covering strategy, engineering, and go-to-market, practitioner-led, outcome-accountable.

He also leads NetUK, the UK’s latest network infrastructure community, and curates the PTX Innovation Network of specialist talent and technology partners.
